Disabled access
Alice Springs Airport provides access to all terminal facilities for disabled visitors. Wheelchairs are available on request from airline staff if required.
Foreign Exchange
Foreign currency can be exchanged at Australian Way Gifts located in the concourse leading to the departure lounges.
ATM
Two ATM machines are located in the Terminal Building. One is located on the central concourse in the terminal just before the screening point, the other is located in the concourse immediately past the Security Screening point. The machines accept most major cards.
Change Machine
There is a change machine which issues $1 and $2 coins situated next to the ATM.
Information
The Central Australian Tourist Information Association has a stand just inside the front door of the terminal. It contains travel and accommodation information.
Internet
If you want to check your email before or after your flight, use our internet access machines located in the terminal just outside the entrance to the restaurant. There is a charge of A$1.00 plus 30cents per minute for this service.
Lost Property
There is a lost property service at the Alice Springs Airport Terminal, and you can check to see if your lost item has been handed in by telephoning +61 8 8951 1211. If you left something on the aircraft you travelled on, please contact the respective airline direct.
Post Office
For that last minute letter or postcard, there is a post box located outside the entrance to the restaurant.
Smokers
Airport users must recognize that smoking is prohibited in the terminal. However, to enable smokers to have a cigarette between flights there is an outdoor area through the restaurant.
Telephones
Telephones are conveniently located throughout the terminal, and require either a telephone card or coins to activate.
Toilets/ Showers/ Baby Change room
To ensure your comfort before, after and between flights, toilets, showers and a baby change room are available in the airside departure area of the terminal. Please utilise these facilities to make your airport experience pleasurable.
Water
Chilled water fountains are available in the terminal.
Services for the Disabled
Full Australian standard facilities are provided for handicapped persons. Wheelchairs are supplied by each airline carrier's handling agent for passengers in the terminal. Access to toilets, showers, shops and various other services and amenities are available at Alice Springs Airport.
Left Luggage
Left luggage services are available at the outward oversize baggage room. All items to be left are subject to Explosive Trace Detection (ETD) before acceptance. A fee is payable for this service.
