Darwin Airport Central’s newest retail offering breaks ground this week

Darwin Airport Central is continuing to bring new business to the Territory with a premium logistics and showroom centre South Osgood set to break ground this week.

Ideally located in the city’s geographical heart and bordered by two main arterial roads, South Osgood will be a high quality, architecturally designed 3200sqm centre, offering showroom and warehouse solutions tailored for Top End businesses.

Darwin Airport Central is in discussions with a range of local and interstate retailers set to add great flavor to what’s currently on offer in Darwin. According to Ross Baynes, Property Director for Darwin Airport Central, those lucky enough to become an occupant at South Osgood will be in good company.

“We have already secured a number of national operators but there is still opportunity knocking for new business. South Osgood will host up to six commercial showrooms and warehouse tenancies, and will have a 70 capacity carpark. This is an exciting development for Darwin and one we are proud to work with Colliers International to bring to fruition,” said Ross.

The favourable location of South Osgood is one of the big selling points for this exciting project, as Project Development Manager and spokesperson for Darwin Airport Central, Patrick Bellot, describes.

“South Osgood is located on Osgood Drive, adjacent to the new Kingpin Entertainment Centre by global power house Ardent Leisure, the Caltex service station and future Flip Out Trampoline Centre – it doesn’t get much better than that! This destination allows direct access to Darwin’s Northern Suburbs, is a stone’s throw to Darwin International Airport while being only six kilometres from the Darwin CBD.”

Darwin Airport Central is fast becoming the destination for new business and, as Ross describes, this growth is certain to continue.

“Darwin Airport Central will not only provide a thriving hub for the community, it will also create local jobs and genuine business opportunities for those looking for the ideal destination to grow their business. Darwin Airport Central continues to support the local construction industry and has engaged the services of a local builder to help develop the facility. South Osgood is just one more feather in the cap of Darwin Airport Central. We’re looking to the future.”

One thing’s for certain, South Osgood certainly promises to live up to its good name!
