Getting Through the Airport

Arrive at the airport with plenty of time to spare for a pleasant experience through to the departure gate.

Check In

When should you arrive for check in?

Check in times vary dependant on whether you are travelling domestic or international and by airline.

We recommend you check with your airline to understand their flight check-in requirements, including:

  • When to check in
  • Baggage restrictions
  • Available passenger assistance
  • Web/mobile check in
  • Baggage drop services

Arrive in plenty of time to go through security screening and immigration if you are travelling internationally.

Unexpected delays can happen, especially at peak travel times, so please take this into consideration when planning your travel.

Where to check in

Upon arrival, head to your airline's check in desks.

Flight information screens near to the Terminal entry will advise where your airline's check in desk is located.

Security

Keeping travellers, visitors and our airport community safe and secure is a top priority.

The security measures we put in place reflect the strict regulations specified by the Australian Government to keep air travel safe.
