Little Flyers Childcare Set to Soar!

Sourcing excellent childcare in the NT is about to get much easier! Boasting a brand new, architecturally-designed facility, Little Flyers Darwin is the latest instalment at the thriving precinct Darwin Airport Central. The facility is state of the art, extremely spacious, offers a range of unique features and opens for business today!

“Darwin Airport Central is fast becoming a hub for new business, premium facilities and ground breaking projects. We’re proud to welcome Little Flyers Darwin to our airport community,” said NT Airports’ Project Manager Patrick Bellot, “And we’re proud to, yet again, have contracted a local builder using 100% local subbies to construct this premium facility”.

In keeping with its surrounds in close proximity to Darwin Airport, Little Flyers Darwin has a distinct aviation theme which even extends to the playground! The Northern Territory’s first replica Airport Control Tower stands proudly in the playground, ready and waiting for budding aviators to peruse the skies for aircraft.

What is a Darwin playground without some type of water feature to combat the humidity and heat? Little Flyers Darwin features a series of water ‘misters’ that children can ride their bikes or walk through, and an orange hollow cylindrical feature for water playtime. Similarly to the internal layout, the playground separates babies from older kids, in order to create positive and safe social exchange within peer groups.

“We really have a first class facility here at Little Flyers Darwin. We encourage parents – or soon to be parents – to come and have a look, meet our staff and see the quality of our education and care facility,” said Little Flyers Darwin Director Joanne Buckley.

All staff at Little Flyers Darwin will be professionally trained in the ‘Circle of Security’ ensuring rich and responsive relationships with your children. Preparing children for life-long learning through the ‘Kids Matter’ program and ‘Circle of Security’ supports emotionally capable and resilient children all the way through school.

Little Flyers Darwin will open 6.30am-6.30pm Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) and integrates a range of programs focused on nutrition, health, wellbeing and learning. This includes meals freshly prepared and served throughout the day, Northern Territory Preschool Curriculum and other specialised programs, and nappies and sunscreen provided for the children.

Enrolments are now open for Little Flyers Darwin through their website – simply click on the ‘Enrol Now’ button in the top right corner, or contact Joanne or Tassia to set up a meeting.
